I can install it manually, if that means copying to the root folder in ~/data/data/, though I don't know if it'll work or which precise sub-directory. Regular ad blocking rules do not allow us being as flexible as it's necessary, that's why AdGuard Extra was developed. Does anyone know a way? I can go through the AG menu, but when I select Firefox Beta as the app to install it to, it just uses the app (ostensibly) to download the adguard.crt file with, to the default download directory. AdGuard Extra is a userscript (or a browser extension) that is supposed to fight ad blocking circumvention attempts which become more and more and popular. I can't seem to find a way to install the Adguard cert to this Preview-turned-Beta app. Now they're streamlining it, so with updates overnight the former Preview app has been turned into a refreshed Beta app. The Preview app was a sort of new concept for what would eventually replace the main app, but developed alongside it. As detailed here, Adguard isn't currently working with Firefox for Android Beta due to there being no easy way to install the certificate.įor context: Mozilla have had a bewildering array of Firefox apps out for Android, including Firefox, Firefox Beta, Firefox Preview, and Firefox Preview Nightly.
